North West Durham MP, Hilary Armstrong showed her commitment to Holocaust
Memorial Day by signing a Book of Commitment to honour those killed in the
Holocaust and individuals that risked their lives to help those being persecuted.

campaign to safeguard a local community hospital. North West Durham MP,
Hilary Armstrong organised a petition to demonstrate local support for
the retention of Shotley Bridge Hospital in Consett, County Durha

Bardardo’s Shop at Consett had a new temporary member of staff
on Saturday. North West Durham MP, Hilary Armstrong volunteered to help
out as part of “Make A Difference Day”. The day is the UK’s
largest day of volunteering action.

a local primary school. The Cabinet at Durham County Council last week
agreed to proceed with the closure of Hamsteels Primary School near Esh
Winning.

Four Derwentside students joined their local Member of Parliament, Hilary
Armstrong MP on a one day visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau in Poland. The trip
organised by the Holocaust Educational Trust is part of their “Lessons
from Auschwitz Project”...
