About This Website
This website has been established to inform constituents about Hilary Armstrong MP's work as a Member of Parliament and to publish contact details. The site is funded through the Incidental Expenses Provision (IEP) given to Members of Parliament.
IP Addresses and Log File Data
This site does not automatically capture or store personal information,
other than logging the user's IP Address or network on the Internet, for
systems administration and troubleshooting purposes. We also use IP addresses
in the aggregate to track, which pages people visit in order to improve
the quality of the site. This facility is provided by the site’s
host www.pdl-services.co.uk

You may be asked for personal information if you complete one of the forms on this site.
In each case we will only use the information about you for the purpose for which you provide it. The office of Hilary Armstrong MP does not sell or disclose this information to outside organisations or individuals. You may remove or change your details at any time. You have right of access to your personal information held on our files by written request to Hilary Armstrong MP, House of Commons, London, SW1A 0AA. Members of Parliament are not covered by the Freedom of Information Act.
Online Email Form
This form provides a method of online communication with the Office of Hilary Armstrong MP. The form will only be validated if a full name, address and postcode are provided. Due to strict parliamentary protocol, only constituents of North West Durham will have their enquiry acknowledged. Data sent by those outside the constituency boundary will have their details and communication deleted from our servers unless it is deemed not to break parliamentary protocol. Information from constituents will be dealt with in accordance with rules governing the handling of Casework.
eNews Newsletter
This site provides users with an opportunity to sign up for an email newsletter from Hilary Armstrong MP. This facility is hosted by Graphic Mail Ltd, 7-15 Pink Lane, Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne & Wear, NE1 5DW.
